hah... hahah... hahhah...hahahahahah... hahahahhahahahah...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... Wow, thanks Maegen I needed a good laugh. Bulgaria hosting the Olympics, funniest thing I've heard in months.
I didn't think it was a joke, but I didn't think they were doing a SERIOUS bid. I thought they were just doing it to raise the profile of the country...You can't make athletes travel so much! Bansko's way the fuck out there from Sofia! Besides, Bansko needs sidewalks before they can host an Olympics...
I don't think the bid is a joke, I am sure that they are serious about it. But that doesn't mean it isn't funny. Bansko definately needs sidewalks first and clean drinking water. There should also be good roads going from Sofia to Bansko. Plus maybe Sofia should address the issue of trash pick up before moving up to the issue of international sporting event.
